Public bug reported: Hello,
I have the same problem as stated in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lm-sensors-3/+bug/576602 I have tried to make 3 scripts called fancontrol, fancontrol1 and fancontrol2 without the extension. cfg I put them in /etc Then I have made a script (the second one in the link above) and i called it script.sh and put it in etc/init.d. The fans still don't lower when I boot my operating system. I'm not an expert but can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong to resolve this issue. Also, is their an option it might be fixed natively in the future? Thanks in advance Description: elementary OS Luna Release: 0.2 5.2.9+elementary13~precise1 As eOS is heavily based on Ubuntu I posted it here. ** Affects: lm-sensors-3 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1215381 Title: Fancontrol devices path/name change on boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lm-sensors-3/+bug/1215381/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
