It took me a while to test that, but on my Samsung Series 5 the
installation of the newest firmware (simply extract
http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/iwlwifi?action=AttachFile&do=get&target
=iwlwifi-6000g2b-ucode-18.168.6.1.tgz to /lib/firmware) solved the
problem entirely. Phew.
