I ended up at this bug because I saw the message in the title while running http://goo.gl/s9ryd per http://chromeos-cr48.blogspot.com/2013/05/chrubuntu-one-script-to-rule-them-all_31.html I found a work-around at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2162179 : use http://goo.gl/kpzxn instead. This gets a version of the script from jay0lee on github instead of googledrive.
