** Description changed: Hello, I faced a strange bug with bash-completion when i'm trying to remove a package. Example: Before <TAB> └─$ which htop /usr/bin/htop └─$ sudo apt-get remove hto After <TAB> └─$ sudo apt-get remove hto^[[m^[[K^[[m^[[Kp I experienced this in Xubuntu 13.04 and Ubuntu Server 13.04 both 64bit Both apt-get versions are : apt 0.9.7.7ubuntu4 for amd64 compiled on Apr 12 2013 23:49:05 I found the same thing occurs with dpkg-reconfigure, dpkg version: Debian `dpkg' package management program version 1.16.10 (amd64). If you need more information, please ask i will provide. This is really annoying so i would like to help to be fixed. + + My bash-completion version is : 1:2.0-1ubuntu3 + As I see there is no other version for 13.04, and for the moment this version is + in the 13.10 repos. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1181495 Title: Strange bug in Ubuntu 13.04 (apt and more) [bash-completion] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bash-completion/+bug/1181495/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
