I got the same with Ubuntu 13.04
I've found (and written down) a partial solution here (in french) :
http://www.e-glop.net/main/Installer_Ubuntu_sur_un_MacBook_5,2_en_Live_USB#Le_port_.22.C3.A9couteurs.22

it consists in using hda analyzer from the Alsa team, and to switch a value for
the headphones PIN...
the problem is now : how to make it reused everytime the computer boots or get
out from suspend... for now, my solution works well when you "rmmod
snd-hda-intel" then "modprobe snd-hda-intel" but it doesn't work when the
computer boots or wakes up.

need some help on that... I'm lost...
