What is the status of this? Seems that revu is dead and new packages have to go through MOTU or Debian: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages
On Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin) I used Brother's amd64 deb package for brscan2 but it didn't work due to a library path bug: http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/id/linux/en/faq_scn.html#f00101 Easy for me to fix but not n00b friendly. Also need a dialog for brsaneconfig* when configuring network-connected scanners. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/383147 Title: [needs-packaging] brscan To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/383147/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
