Unichrome doesn't support VT3344. But I found a similar project called openChrome (http://www.openchrome.org/) which supports also VT3344. 3D acceleration seems to work also, but unfortunately xv video output (eg. in mplayer) doesn't work.
There is no stable release of openChrome, so I packaged a svn version. Packages can be found from http://koti.mbnet.fi/heikki_m/deb/openchrome/ (yes, lintian and linda aren't happy whete these, but lets see what I can do).
