OS: Kubuntu 12.04 HW: clevo p150em notebook - don't know the touchpad manufacturer
I have exactly the same problem with my clevo p150em notebook. (no movement, scrolling still possible) It's quite frustrating. It happened several time while I was watching youtube videos, but the reason for this could be that I did spend a lot of time on youtube... I have synaptiks enabled (the tool to control the touchpad). I enabled the "disable touchpad for 1sec after button pressed" option and the "disable touchpad when mouse is present". I don't know how to force this bug. Maybe some dev has to work for 1-2h without a mouse, maybe then the bug will occure. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1035208 Title: touchpad stops working (moving the pointer doesn't work) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ac100/+bug/1035208/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
