The fact that /sys/firmware/efi does not exist means that your system is
not booted under UEFI.  That appears to be consistent with the original
dpkg log, which says that none of these packages were previously
installed.  Why are you trying to install grub-efi-amd64-signed?  This
does not appear to be the correct bootloader for your system.
