The fix as I have in the branch atm solves the issue by:

If the shortcut is open, and we get a mouse/keyboard event then we close
the shortcut layout.

So for example with the zoom, if we have the shortcut window open (super
down), then scroll, we then hide the shortcut window.

This could also solve other issues with the shortcut window being in the
way after the user has attempted new events after opening.
