Ok, thanks for testing. That is the original bug. It appears we are hitting two bugs. The first seems to have been introduced by commit a4a23f6. The second bug is uncovered by reverting a4a23f6, and causes an oops with memcpy.
I'll go through the git log some more to see if anything sticks out that would cause the second oops. If nothing does, we may need to bisect further while having commit a4a23f6 reverted. Would it be possible for you to test some additional kernels? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1218004 Title: Apple Wireless Trackpad causes kernel oops To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1218004/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
