Alright, I'm thoroughly confused now. When I boot the Quantal live CD, the problem is gone, the speakers get muted as they should be.
However, I still can't get it to work when I downgrade the kernel to the same version used on the CD. I even tried downgrading ALSA and Pulseaudio as well to no avail. I don't remember touching any config files that belong to the sound subsystems, but that's the only explanation I can come up with at the moment. I'll probably try re-installing the damn thing and hope it goes away. Thanks anyway for the support! ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1224087 Title: [Fujitsu Esprimo Mobile D9500] No auto-mute with Intel HD Audio To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1224087/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
