Hello I have updated successfully BIOS using CD. Old version was 1.8. I have following version now reported:
root@Satellite-A305-u1204i386-Anita-Piotr-Leo:~# sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date 2.20 12/07/2009 root@Satellite-A305-u1204i386-Anita-Piotr-Leo:~# Unfortunately web cam still doesn't work with current kernel "3.2.0-48 -generic-pae #74-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 6 20:05:01" even after BIOS upgrade. cheese and skype both report "no camera found" Please let me know if there anything else we could do.
