The point is that printing e.g. from Firefox to cups-pdf works with the older versions of cups-pdf and does not with recent versions (for the same websites).
Why not print to file, you ask: It is simply a lot more steps (more clicks and manually entering a filename). I do not really understand, why this long discussion instead of reverting the changes that caused the issue. pdf-printing was a solved problem for years and now suddenly became an issue. -- Regards, Martin Wildam.
