Public bug reported:

The volume indicator used to have a function that allowed to change the
volume using the mousewheel by simply "hovering" over the indicator.
Rolling the wheel DOWN reduced the volume and vice versa.

Starting with saucy, this function is gone. I actually have to click on
the indicator and then move the cursor on the volume bar, and THEN  the
logic for the volume has swapped --- rolling the wheel down now
INCREASES the volume.

Also, one click muting (middle mouse button on the indicator) is also
gone.
