It was decided that Saucy would be based on the 3.11 kernel, so I think it's too far along in the release for that to change.
Did my test kernel in comment #6 also resolve this bug, or just the v3.12-rc1 kernel? Also, per your email, are you not seeing the bug in the 3.11.0-8.15 kernel anymore? I think there are multiple bugs being discussed.
