Public bug reported:
Upstart App Launch and URL Dispatcher are finding the manifest files and reading them to check versions and find applications. They shouldn't be finding the files at all and should be asking click for the manifests. So this bug is to track the overall change as Click doesn't yet have an interface to get the manifest for a package. ** Affects: upstart-app-launch Importance: High Assignee: Ted Gould (ted) Status: Incomplete ** Affects: url-dispatcher Importance: High Assignee: Ted Gould (ted) Status: Incomplete ** Affects: click (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Colin Watson (cjwatson) Status: New ** Changed in: click (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Colin Watson (cjwatson) ** Also affects: url-dispatcher Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: upstart-app-launch Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: upstart-app-launch Assignee: (unassigned) => Ted Gould (ted) ** Changed in: url-dispatcher Assignee: (unassigned) => Ted Gould (ted) ** Changed in: upstart-app-launch Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: url-dispatcher Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: url-dispatcher Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: upstart-app-launch Importance: Undecided => High -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1232118 Title: Don't read manifest files directly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/upstart-app-launch/+bug/1232118/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
