In fact amjjawad describes two differents behavior (scenario A and
scenario B).

For me, scenario A is a wanted behavior : I agree with Phill that it
would be very frustating if menu disappeared as soon as the mouse is
away of it.

However, scenario B is not a normal behavior : I see no reason nor
advantage for the menu to stay opened after a right click on an item,
while we click away of this menu. The scenario B is indeed a bug (and an
old one).
