Public bug reported: That's an issue on the touch image, the system-settings' battery code used the enable/disable switch from the indicator over qmenumodel, or the indicator is hidden when bluetooth is off, which leads to the UI dropping from the settings as well
We should probably export another widget for the settings to use ** Affects: indicator-bluetooth (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Charles Kerr (charlesk) Status: Confirmed ** Affects: ubuntu-system-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: High Status: Confirmed ** Changed in: indicator-bluetooth (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: indicator-bluetooth (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Charles Kerr (charlesk) ** Changed in: indicator-bluetooth (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Also affects: ubuntu-system-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: ubuntu-system-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: ubuntu-system-settings (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1233628 Title: disabling bluetooth makes battery's setting switch to hide To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-bluetooth/+bug/1233628/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
