Public bug reported: I had dnsmasq running on a VM, with isc-dhcp-relay configured to relay dhcp requests to it; it relayed them fine, but not the replies. I found some sporadic reports of this, but no bug in ubuntu, so am filing one here.
It should be straight forward to reproduce - setup a vm with a bridge inside the machine, give the host an ip address on the bridge, and run isc-dhcp-relay on the host to forward outside -> vm. dhcp-helper worked perfectly in this situation. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1233953 Title: isc-dhcp-relay not forwarding replies from dnsmasq To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1233953/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
