@charles I think I did that way because I was having problems to keep sync btw the UI and the backend, since the backend notifies the UI every time that the device changes the property, sometimes moving the slider is faster than update the device property, this cause the backend to notify a old value and the UI was changing to a old value instead of keep sync with the user interaction.
