Binary package hint: libusplash0
When I:
1) boot into Gutsy tribe 4 using the live CD on my Toshiba Satellite Pro L10
(Intel 815 graphics) and I
2) manually set the VGA settings to 1024x768x24bbp using F4, and then continue
to boot, then
3) Ubuntu boots but the screen remains blank until X starts.
-When keeping the VGA setting at it's default setting, this problem doesn't
occur.
-I suspect it's the usplash package responsible for this problem, but I'm not
entirely sure.
-This problem doens't occur when I follow the steps above using a Feisty live
CD, a.k.a. - this is a regression.
