The launcher doesn't hide but otherwise it runs. Only the autohide function is affected. When I hover the mouse over to the edge, it doesn't unhide, regardless of the amount of "pressure" I apply. This is running on a desktop, no touchscreen is involved.
To reproduce, install VirtualBox on a desktop, full screen the VM on a given screen (I occasionally use two) and move your mouse to the unity autohide edge or corner. Regardless of how you approach it, Unity Launcher won't appear. Launcher will be revealed when an application starts or the hotkey is pressed. This might be a VirtualBox edge detection/capture issue but renders Unity autohide useless inside VirtualBox. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1235063 Title: Unity launcher autohide doesn't work under VirtualBox To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1235063/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
