Actually the bug might not be that different. To do a re-check between headphone and speaker whenever you enter the HiFi profile would solve it both on startup and after a phone call.
The reason this works on desktop is because the speaker is set to unavailable when headphones are plugged in (and so module-switch-on- port-available switches *away* from the speaker rather than *to* the headphones), but on the phone, we want the possibility to redirect stuff to the speaker even when the headphones are plugged in.
