This only seems to apply to the first click package installed in a fresh image. Also, a search after installing that first package seems to be enough to get it to show up in the installed apps list.
My test was this: - Associate with Ubuntu One (prereq for installing click pkgs) - Install xkcd package - Look in installed apps list -- it's not there. - Search for it -- it's in results. - Close search -- it's in installed apps list. - Install uWoot package - Look in installed apps list -- it's there. My original thought was that we just needed to trigger an empty search after the package install but it seems more complicated than that. Even after a reboot newly installed packages are showing up in the list, so it's not just a process that isn't starting correctly on boot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1230067 Title: Freshly installed application dos not appear under 'Installed' category immediatly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-lens-applications/+bug/1230067/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
