Hopefully it works out somehow. Probably more important to get squared
away for 14.04 which I gather may be the last of unity7 & compiz, so it
would be nice to go out on a high note.

Just to mention if it comes down to revert the commit or not.
This commit was applied late in 13.04 dev & then reverted before release even 
though at that time the actual cause was not known
(eg. enabling the bindings..

So 13.04 does not include this commit in gtk & I've not noticed any new bugs or 
added  to orig. bug report that lead to the commit in the first place.
And as mentioned I can't dupe the orig. bug no matter how hard I try. (I 
believe the orig. was on 12.04, even there I can't dupe.
