Just getting this starting today (or perhaps yesterday), after a bunch of s/w was upgrade (so that's what I blame). Quite irritating since my other devices on the network are fine - it's just Ubuntu. - 13.04 in this case. Perhaps I'll try 13.10, since it was released today (iinm), but something makes me thing this problem will be in that too :/ Using a Lenovo X1 Carbon - not sure what h/w it has, but it seems to be unrelated to specific h/w.
