hello,

after I was unable to delete the partitions and create my own partitioning, I 
went back and selected the installer's option to 'erase Ubuntu and install' 
with LVM checked. in that case, the installer then tried to install to the 
volume instead of creating a whole new structure. should this be moved to 
ubiquity then?
