Public bug reported: The updater suggests bad repositories or packages, but after removing all non-Ubuntu repositories and almost all packages from them (found by aptitude search ~o), the problem remains (and the messages in /var/log /dist-upgrade/main.log and /var/log/dist-upgrade/apt.log do not seem to suggest that the remaining two packages are involved in the problem).
Just in case the two remaining apps are actually relevant to the problem: root@desktop:~# env - aptitude show ~o Package: teamviewer New: yes State: installed Automatically installed: no Version: 8.0.17147 Priority: optional Section: non-free/internet Maintainer: Teamviewer GmbH <serv...@teamviewer.com> Architecture: i386 Uncompressed Size: 81.9 M Depends: libc6 (>= 2.4), libgcc1, libasound2, libfreetype6, zlib1g, libsm6, libxdamage1, libxext6, libxfixes3, libxrender1, libxtst6 Description: TeamViewer (Remote Control Application) TeamViewer is a remote control application.
