** Description changed:

Yesterday I upgraded to Ubuntu 13.10. During the upgrade I opted to keep
my existing Dokuwiki configuration files. Now when I try to access my
wiki I get a 404 message from Apache2. A distribution upgrade should not
  break an app like this.
+
+ ADDENDUM: I have now done a complete uninstall and reinstall of Dokuwiki
+ and I'm still getting the 404 error when I try to go to
+ myservername/dokukwiki. So it looks like Dokuwiki is completely broken
+ in Saucy.
