Joseph, I installed FreeDOS to a USB stick. So I now have a FAT32 USB stick I can copy BIOS exe's onto from Ubuntu, and simply boot into. The hard part was convincing FreeDOS to install to the USB stick... I had to unplug the real harddrives to convince FreeDOS that USB was the primary drive.
But once it's installed, it's just a handy bootable USB stick. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1212977 Title: [Dell Optiplex 990] Saucy daily-live images are unbootable, stuck in BusyBox shell To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1212977/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
