Public bug reported: I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 dev with udev 204-0ubuntu19. My system does contain a hard disk drive (sda) and 4 card reader (sdb - sde). If I'm plug in an usb stick it will get the name sdf. But if the usb stick is already plugged in at booting it will get the name sdb and the card reader will get the names sdc - sdf. Maybe udev can give all internal devices a higher priority over all external devices so that all internal devices would always have the same ordering.
