I'm sorry, "chmap -D hw:U46DJ query" returns me a "command not found".

You're right, restarting pulseaudio using "pulseaudio -k" makes the
outputs to work. That's a nice trick.

What I mean is, I'd like the U46DJ to work as in 13.04: without needing
to turn it on before login in (or without the need to restart
pulseaudio), and with the option to use it as an "Analogue Stereo
Duplex" or "Analogue Stereo Output".

Anyway, I'm thinking about going back to 13.04, because I don't see
anything in 13.10 that makes me want to keep using it.
