I had a fully updated Feisty installation to begin with. Because "update-manager -d" didnt work either with or without sudo, I added gutsy to the meta-file, explained in Bug #129392. Then i just used "update-manager -d", and upgraded to 7.10. In this process the installation of cupsys 1.2.8-0ubuntu8 failed and made update-manager crash after setting up the last package.
So the last 2 steps (cleaning up, restart) of the upgrade where skipped, and by starting update-manager again another cupsys version was installed anyways. -- package cupsys 1.2.8-0ubuntu8 failed to install/upgrade: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/132099 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
