Hi, I have the same notebook (HP6338SE) with Ubuntu 7.10 and the same USB problem :-)
Please let me know if I can help in any way with this bug. It would be helpful if I send the uname and lspci output or not as I have the same notebook? While the bug is not solved any of you know a workaround to use USB?
