Public bug reported:

xfce4-power-manager will not save preferences. For example, on my Lenovo
R60 laptop I do not want the system to go into suspend/hibernate/sleep
when the lid is closed. I make this change with the power manager but
the lid still sleeps the machine. I've tried deleting the pm utils,
getting rid of symbolic links to them, etc. and the lid still sleeps the
machine.

This sucks. Fix it!
Thanks.
