Work around is as follows, but is still NOT FULL RESOLUTION:

Use xrandr to add a 1280x768 mode:

 xrandr --newmode "1280x768" 79.50 1280 1344 1472 1664 768 771 781 798 -hsync
+vsync
 xrandr --addmode DVI-I-1 1280x768
 xrandr --output DVI-I-1 --mode 1280x768

This does work..confirmed with dual screen 1920x1080 and 1268x768 on the
suspect Sansui

1368x768 is still elusive on this monitor, Sansui.

Any one have a newmode line that might support this?

How to get appropriate plug & play support added?

Kubuntu ESR 12.04
