Ubuntu 13.10 If fglrx is installed from Software & Updates > Additional Drivers, upon reboot I get a black screen with a cursor (cursor freezes if I try to move it around) after getting past the login screen. I did Alt+F1, purged fglrx (sudo apt-get remove --purge fglrx fglrx_* fglrx-amdcccle* fglrx-dev*), rebooted (open source driver was working), and installed fglrx from the console (sudo apt-get install fglrx fglrx- pxpress) and voila, fglrx installed and working. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: fglrx radeon software-updates -- Saucy 13.10 fglrx only works when installed from console https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1248255 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
