Public bug reported:

Currently, software-center checks the current codename against a list in
the distro modules. There are multiple modules for different Linux
distributions. The value seems to only ever be used for falling back to
an older series when checking for reviews, if the result set is empty.
This is something that should be done on the server, not on the client.
We should be displaying the same results as the package index web site.
