Public bug reported:

this first came to light with Bug #130257

however I think this is possibly related to the window manger...

Currently my version of Nautilus is 2.19.90 (tho this can change daily
with updates so its not very useful info)

right click on say a jpg, clicking the default action open with "image viewer"
will work with both a right and left click
*however* choosing one of the open with options on the sub menu say for example
Open with "GIMP Image Editor"
will only work with a right click not a left

I wouldn't be surprised if this will also happen in other applications

YET

right clicking to correct a spelling mistake in a browser text area
works fine..... go figure!

** Affects: Ubuntu
