Binary package hint: gnome-applets
Using Feisty.
- Open Adjust Date and Time panel (with super-user password; see bug 132795)
from right-click menu on clock and change the time zone
- Click Close on the panel
Actual:
- Displayed time in gnome panel does not change
Expected:
- Displayed time immediately updates to show time in new time zone
You can "kick" it to update by adding or removing the seconds, or
performing other formatting changes in the Preferences.
