Sorry guys, was busy and forgot about that issue... I've moved to 13.10 since last report, the problem is still here. I have the OKI printer connected through a cheap USB hub and DYMO labelwriter directly to the PC. That's exactly the same configuration as I had before upgraded to 13.04, which introduced the problem and strange behavior with delays...
The USB hub was replaced to a better one and the problem didn't dissapear. I've connected the OKI printer directly to the PC and couldn't reproduce the problem for now. Will stay with that configuration to see if it will come back. The delays between the prints are still here, but that's a minor issue. I start to suspect in USB subsystem since there is another non-printer related issue. The first scan after with barcode reader will always be incomplete after the PC was idle fro a while (probably the USB went to sleep since then, I can see it by dimmer led on the DYMO printer). The barcode scanner was always connected to the USB hub where OKI printer is connected... ** Changed in: cups (Ubuntu) Status: Expired => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1231630 Title: Prints to DYMO LabelWriter 450 are cut by prints to OKI printer To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1231630/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
