If I try a reinstall, I'll provide more information as suggested. However, given the problems that exist with the 7.04 Live CD (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux- source-2.6.20/+bug/103677) I might not.
I did figure the above was sufficient information -- try an install and make a partition that is 225+ GB. You'll get the error. Thanks for responding and reminding me that I need to include logs.
