Owen Williams, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. As per http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/xps-13-l321x-mlk an update is available for your BIOS (A10). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and just provide the output of the following terminal command: sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette . Thank you for your understanding. ** Tags added: bios-outdated-a10 ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete ** Summary changed: - Laptop often suspends once immediately after resume + [Dell XPS 13 (L322X)] Laptop often suspends once immediately after resume -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1261753 Title: [Dell XPS 13 (L322X)] Laptop often suspends once immediately after resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1261753/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
