peterzay, thank you for your comments. Regarding them: "I cannot change kernels for fear of modifying my environment."
If you have your data backed up, or even better your OS state cloned (ex. fsarchiver, DD, etc.), this fear would be unfounded. "I also need to monitor this platform with the new A11 BIOS upgrade you requested recently. That boot testing is not yet complete." If it still happens with the updated BIOS, a mainline test would need to occur in order to further diagnose the cause. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1261063 Title: [Dell Inspiron 660] Occasional "The disk drive for /dev/mapper/cryptswap1 is not ready yet or not present" on system startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1261063/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
