Hi Dan,

I'm using OpenFOAM (including ParaView in it) for my study. I'm trying
to install fglrx because without it the ParaView display screen will
block everything I open. It is very annoying and makes me cannot work
quickly because I have to adjust the other programs' screen size all the
time. I've attached the screenshoot of it, just to help me explaining it
easier because I'm not very good at this field.

Initially, I didn't meet this problem since I didn't enable the 3D accelerator.
However, I prefer to use 3D accelerator because definitely it will make the
graphics better and run quicker. BTW, I got the suggestion to install fglrx
from CFD-online forum. If you have any solution to solve this problem, that
would be appreciated...:)

Thank you.

Regards,

Steven Christian

Why are you trying to install fglrx in a VM? Virtualbox uses its own
virtual graphics adapter and fglrx will only bork it.
