As the title states the global-menu integration is rather
strange/broken. The Gnome 3 menu is displayed in the global-menu but
their is also the "normal" game menu which is displayed in the gnome 2
style (in window). I guess it was meant to replace the Gnome 3 menu with
an global-menu integrated version of the "normal" menu.
