Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I'm using Ubuntu Feisty (7.04) and openoffice.org 2.2.0-1ubuntu4.
When I'm opening a oo document written in Swedish, sometimes the Swedish
characters å/Å (a/A with a ring above) and ä/Ä (a/A with 2 dots above) are
replaced with a odd special character %o (but in one character). If I copy the
character e.g. to this input window in firefox it will be displayed correct.
But in OO it's wrong both on screen and as printed out as well as exported to
pdf. If I export the file to MS-word and open it in ms-word (running on
crossover in the same machine) it displays all characters correct. If I change
the font e.g. to italic it displays correct but when I change the font back
again it displays wrong again.
So far I've found this problem with the fonts Verdana (regular) and Times New
Roman (regular). I dont have this problem with any other application than OO.

A maybe odd thing is that the third Swedish character ö/Ö (o with 2 dots
above) always displays correct.

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
