Unfortunately, I'm not terribly familiar with wave encryption in combination with linux, and a cursory view of the the website suggests suspend is supported (assuming in Windows) http://www.wave.com/products/embassy-remote-administration-server-self-encrypting-drives: "Drive locking is supported in sleep or standby (S3) modes"
