Please package this! The current deb installer doesn't get the permissions quite right; you have to run dbeaver with sudo or the menus get corrupted: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1218687
If we could get this packaged correctly by Trusty 14.04, I'll be thrilled. Dbeaver scratches a big itch in Ubuntu, because you can connect to almost any type of database with it. I use it at work constantly. Its a super application; it's way better than any other db tool I've ever used. You can manage all your different databases from one Management Console (mysql, MSSQL, db2, and many more). ** Tags added: saucy trusty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1213139 Title: DBeaver [needs-packaging] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1213139/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
